基督教頌恩堂擬聘社區事工外展主任，申請人需有強烈的呼召感帶領教會發展社區事工，並承傳上帝所頒的使命和願景。本堂之使命為「成為盛載恩典、傳送恩典、以基督為至寶的信心群體。」，願景是「成為有使命的基督徒，藉關愛和服侍鄰舍，影響整個社區。」

基督教頌恩堂背景

• 為重浸派福音教會，隸屬門諾兄弟會
• 由三種語言之會眾組成：粵語、英語 (包括兒童)、國語
• 約400會眾：粵語200+、英語80+ (成人及青少年)、國語35+
• 每週約70+兒童參加AWANA兒童團契
• 位處溫哥華 Hastings – Sunrise 社區
• 具穩固之差傳事工及植堂歷史

角色與職責

• 部分時間社區事工外展主任
• 2024年1月履新，每週工作不少於10小時
• 與本堂傳道部和關懷部合作，推行並實施社區事工和服務。
• 協調英語、國語和粵語聯合外展活動
• 支援大型傳道部活動，如社區同樂日、足球夏令營等
• 履行主任牧師交託的其他職責
• 根據主任牧師的安排下在崇拜中分享和推廣社區事工
• 按主任牧師要求下參加執事會和同工會議

學歷與資格

• 具有豐富多元文化和會眾環境下的事奉經驗
• 持有認可的大學學士學位或同等學歷
• 確認門諾弟兄會之教義、信仰和實踐
• 具有與三語會眾（粵語、英語和國語）合作的能力並能熟悉流暢使用其中一種語言，對每個會眾文化有基本了解
• 具有領導及督導之恩賜

薪酬

• 時薪 $24-$28

We are seeking a part-time director of community outreach and service who has a strong sense of calling to lead our church community to discover and achieve its God-given mission and vision. Our mission is to be a grace-filled, grace-extending, Christ-treasuring community of faith. Our vision is to be a church of missional followers of Jesus Christ who influence our communities by embracing and serving our neighbours.

PGMBC background

• Pacific Grace MB Church is an Anabaptist, Evangelical Christian church affiliated with the Mennonite Brethren Conference.
• PGMBC comprises three distinct congregations–Cantonese, Mandarin and English (including Children’s Ministry)
• ~400 attendees: 200+ Cantonese, ~80 English (Adults and Teens), 35+ Mandarin
• ~ 70 children attend weekly AWANA children’s program
• A Community Church located in Hastings-Sunrise area in City of Vancouver
• Strong missions ministry and church planting history

Position

• Part-time director of community outreach and service

Role and responsibility (Ministry)

• Commences January 2024 working no less than ten hours per week
• Oversees and implements community programs and services in collaboration with the evangelism and caring departments of the church.
• Coordinates joint English, Mandarin and Cantonese outreach activities
• Supports major evangelism events such as Community Spring Day, Soccer Camp
• Performs other responsibilities as delegated by the lead pastor
• Preaches occasionally in worships as the lead pastor sees fit
• Attends deacon board and staff meeting at the request of the lead pastor

Educational background and Qualifications

• Experience in a multi-cultural and multi-congregational setting
• Holds a Bachelor degree or its equivalent from accredited and recognized university
• Ascribes to the doctrine, belief and practice of the Mennonite Brethren denomination
• Able to work with three congregations (Cantonese, English and Mandarin) with proficiency in at least one of those languages and some understanding of the cultures of each congregation
• Demonstrates leadership and coaching experiences

Wage

• $24-$28 per hour
